Muirhouse Library and North Edinburgh Women’s Group welcomed 83 visitors to their joint Open Day.  The group had chosen new books for the library and suggested improvements to the service.  Those who came along were amazed to hear about all the services the library offers from a writers workshop and Chinese IT classes to children’s activities on Sunday afternoons.  Tomorrow’s People, a young people’s group, have decorated the community room and the North Edinburgh Social History group are shared electronic resources they have produced.  The event finished off with a lunch by North Edinburgh Arts cafe.You can see more photos from the event on Muirhouse Library’s Facebook page.
