Our discussion group combining the study of acclaimed novels and their film adaptations get underway again from Monday October 3rd for 8 weeks.
The book/film choices for this session are  Last Orders by Graham Swift, Room at the Top by John Braine and 1984 by George Orwell.

27th January marks the international day of remembrance for the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and the ongoing atrocities in Darfur.
Holocaust Memorial Day isn’t just learning about history. It’s learning from history and encouraging us to consider what action we can take after HMD which will have a positive impact on our community.
