We were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Bert Jansch, a local folk music luminary, and inspiration to many.  Though his may not be not a recognisable name to the casual music fan, it could be said that he was a musician’s musician.  Artists who have cited him as an important influence included Jimmy Page, Nick Drake, Neil Young and Johnny Marr.
