We’ve teamed up with NHS Lothian to launch a new range of books and resources aimed at helping young people and families cope with mental health issues.

Whichbook is an exciting online toy tool to help you find new books to read.  You can browse and create your own lists of books by genre or theme, but the revolutionary thing about the site is that it allows you to fine-tune various sliders in order to tailor the search to exactly what you feel like reading at the time.

We have lift off!   Libraries across Edinburgh are getting ready to launch children into orbit for an intergalactic reading adventure – with Space Hop, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, coming to every Edinburgh library from 28 June to 29 August 2010.

With the Edinburgh International Film Festival in full swing it seemed a good time to highlight some books that have been successfully adapted for the big screen.  The following list were not only adapted for film but also received their British premiere at EIFF – reserve them to collect from your nearest library.
