Reopening of Libraries
Balerno, Balgreen, Blackhall, Central, Central Children's, Colinton, Corstorphine, Craigmillar, Currie, Fountainbridge, Gilmerton, Kirkliston, McDonald Road, Moredun, Morningside, Muirhouse (at Edinburgh College, Granton Campus), Piershill, Portobello, Ratho (mobile library), Stockbridge, South Queensferry, South Neighbourhood and Wester Hailes libraries are now open.
Drumbrae Library is closed for renovations from the 17-25 January.
The following Libraries are closed until further notice due to use as Covid-19 Test Centres:
• Leith Library
• Newington Library
• Oxgangs Library
• Sighthill Library at Gate 55
During this reopening phase of Libraries, services are limited and unless you are browsing and borrowing books, returning books or picking up free sanitary products you must book a time to visit. Please see our reopening information for further details of services available and what to expect when you visit.
Your Library is always open online to borrow ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and newspapers.
