eBooks for dyslexia

Ednburgh Libraries OverDrive ebook service has thousands of adult, teen and children's titles available to download. You can use OverDrive on a computer, tablet, smartphone or ebook reader (not a basic Kindle) and borrow up to 10 titles at a time. There are automatic returns so you'll never get a fine.

You may find ebooks useful as you can change the:
● Size of the font
● Font type - you can use the OpenDyslexic font on the OverDrive or Libby apps
Background colour
● Line spacing

We also have a growing range of talking children's ebooks what have both audio and text to help support reading.

Videos - there is a range of OverDrive help videos which show you how to set it up and use it

Drop-in session - every Tuesday from 2-3.30pm on the Central Library's Mezzanine floor. Bring your device and we'll help you get set up
