25/6/2020 - there is currently an error message appearing when users login to the web version of PressReader - "Cannot read property "isNewUser" of undefined". Click on the grey Cancel button at the top left-hand side of the box and then on the green teacup in the top left-hand corner of the page. The Welcome to Edinburgh Libraries box will appear and you can click on Select Publication to proceed. You will now be logged in for 60 days.

Messages re paying for publications

If you have been using the app at home and start to get messages about paying for magazines, just logout and in again to reactivate your free access. If you have done this and it still asks you to pay for the publications go into Settings, then HotSpots and make sure that the Enable HotSpots option is switched on (button will go green).
