Very surprising as everyone was very glad they had read this short book & enjoyed it very much.It could have been controversial. It is written beautifully & everyone commented on this fact, It was a bit of a curve ball when I chose it as it is the story of Virgin Mary retold. We had every opinion from committed Christians to firm atheists represented in the group & no one was offended. It certainly made us think & we had the best & probably longest discussion we have had in over 8 years over this very short book. Rated out of 10: 10 Reading group name: Kenley Valley WI
