Very well written adult fairy tale which probably takes 2 reads to understand all the plot.Beautiful poetic descriptions of a simple lifestyle from mid 1800s to just after 2nd world war.Portrayal of Marvellous makes one believe in the fantasy.Half our members really liked the book and enjoyed the story and the others found it boring and unbelievable.
